First Tuesay Away!

Good Morning 5th Graders,
Happy Tuesday! I know you heard the good news. Ethan has joined our world! He is a big boy and he is doing great! Miss you guys already, but I know you are doing great with Mrs. Corlett. I will attach a picture of Ethan when we get home. I hope to have a few more next week. We are still in the hospital but get to go home tomorrow.That's why I am having a hard time posting a picture. I look forward to hearing how you are doing. Remember, I will get back to your emails at least once while I am gone.Pleaae respond to this reading question and if you have time you can email me from the blog. For today's reading blog response I would like you to share wih me and those who read this, what your strategy goal or goals are.     I use check for understanding when I read. I do this by reading a page and then I ask what and who questions to myself to see if I know what is going on. My next goal is to do a cross check.

    Dear Mrs. Pierik,

    Your class tried to respond to your "First Tuesday Away" with their comments and congratulations, but we had technological difficulties in the lab. After they strived to capitalize proper nouns like "Pierik" and now "Ethan," the web site would not let them select an "anonymous" profile or even ANY profile to use for posting. We will try again next week. Wish us luck as we wish you the best of recovery, rest, and health for you and Ethan.

    I have made some questions on how to speak dragonease and i have finished the book and I am starting Middle School worst Years Of my life and I am also making questions in that book to. I took two AR test on the dragonese book and the third dork diarys and got hundreds on both of them! I miss you sooooo much I love Baby Ethan he is so cute! Hope your feel great!
